I go to watch youtube videos
And it says: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player
I click Get the latest Flash Player but it won't install.
It takes me to "Install ActiveX" and I've done that a MILLION times.
But it never installs the Actual Adobe Flash player 9.
What do I do?
Try this -
Go to this link.
>
In the section titled "Adobe Flash Player", click the 'Uninstaller' link. This should do a clean uniadobe flash player 9 installation problemsnstall of your adobe flash. It may, or may not, prompt you to reboot. I would suggest rebooting.
Then go back to this same link I just provided above, go to the "Adobe Flash Player" section again, and this time click on the 'Installer' link to load the current version of Flash. Hopefully this will get you what you need to get up and going.
You need Administrative rights
1. First download the Adobe flash uninstaller tool
Then, download the stand alone full instaler for Flash Player
2. Then, run the adobe flash player 9 installation problemsuninstaller tool but run as administrator:
Right click on, and chose: Run as… Administrator
For Vista users must have administrative rights chose Run Elevated
3. Reboot
4. Run the stand alone instaler tool, as above, right click, “Run as… administrator” for XP or ”Run Elevated” for Vista.
5. Reboot.
You are Done!
