veganVegan?????

I am already a vegetarian. I am, the only one in my family. I am 14

I want to become vegan but still be healthy. The rest of my family are big meat eaters. Can you give me some simple recipes and some advice on being vegan?

Also, do you know anything about the Hallelujah Diet?
Hi, great choice to become a vegan. I totally understand what you are going through.

I am also a teen and have been a vegan for almost four years now. I am still the only one in the whole entire family of 50+ meat lovers, so as you can imagine I had to be extremely focused, determined and self motivated to pull it off. I remember my first days as a vegan asking around on, so I had to learn it the hard way. Through that experience I decided to help others and share my knowledge with you.
FYI WITH THE FOLLOWING RECIPIES YOU WILL GET ALL THE VITAMINS YOU NEED. HOWEVER YOU MIGHT WANT TO TAKE SOME VITAMINS AND PROTIEN POWDER ON THE SIDE! Don’t forget to regularly see the doctor.

The Hallelujah Diet is being used by hundreds and thousands of people around the world to accomplish what our present day medical system cannot. People are getting well from a wide array of disorders. In fact the Hallelujah Diet has been so successful that is was recently adopted by the successful Oasis of Hope hospital. Why? You've probably heard the saying "God chose the simple things to confound the wise". You can't get any simpler than the Hallelujah Diet. God didn't create our bodies to run on drugs or artificial, over processed and over cooked foods. Look at what God created us to eat, feed it to your body for several months, get a little exercise and you will be amazed at the difference. It is time to stop fighting the symptoms and change what we eat! There recently was a news report on TV on a large study that proved that folks in the 60's and older benefit more from fresh fruits and vegetables than they do from vitamins. Amazing, perhaps they'll prove that God was right after all....

I think that being vegan is quite similar to this diet in that you are leading a healthy lifestyle.

I really hope this helps I had my mom look it over (She’s a medical M.D. PhD and it is 100 percent approved, tasty, certified and copywrited ?.

Vegan to Vegetarian and Teen to Teen I wish you the very best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eggs, cheese (milk), and ranch dressing (milk) are not vegan.

this is really helpful! i'm a vegetarian transitioning into veganism and the answer to this question really helped me!

i think you're fantastic for all of this advice and wanting to help people :) but "good old ice cream" isn't vegan.you should read labels morevegan and try to read more about being vegan so it can help you in the future. not trying to be negative either!

Cheese? Ranch? eggs? you not vegan.

Perhaps some confusion on the vegan/vegetarian aspect, they are two diffrent things. Good guide notheless.

Good looking menu, but dairy and eggs are not vegan. However, you *can* buy vegan trans-fat-free margarine in place of butter, soy milk in place of milk, and egg and dairy free versions of mayonaise and dressing.

i'm 12, I'm vegan, I don't need to take any pills. but the thing is (this is not negative) you need to get enough enzymes. You will get alot of those if you eat a whole bunch of raw fresh food, like carrot sticks (organic is really healthy, but if you can't afford, I know what you mean)

Do you know of any person in the US or in the Western world who has ever suffered a Protein Deficiency? NOO! We eat WAY too much. No protein powder or shakes needed to supplement. A varied whole food (min processed) plant-based way of eating will get you all the protein needed. Ground flax &Walunuts

Going vegan? As Neal Barnard, President of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine pcrm.org has said. 'The first thing I would do is get off the dairy' You'll see more benefit getting off the milk of a cow or other animal than you will giving up meat. Both are good choicesWhyRanch/cheese/etc?

Go to the library & borrow vegan cookbooks. Most libraries allow you to log into your library account on-line & you can request books be sent from other libraries. I look at books at amazon and then request them from the library. You should be very proud you are so smart at 14 years old. =0)

Vegan= no meat, fish, egg, and milk!!

a lot of those things arent vegan...youre dumb

Might want to figure out what vegan means..

I've been a vegan for 9 years now, and the simple answer to being healthy is to simply amend your diet so that you get the proper nutrition that you need. As a vegetarian you should already know the basics and fundamentals of removing meat from your diet, but when you choose to eliminate dairy and animal byproducts, it does change a little bit more.

The things you will mostly be lacking are vitamin b12 and protein. You can get b12 from some specialized foods, or also vitamin pills. Protein is easily found in nuts, portabella mushrooms, tofu, and fortified soy products.

I highly recommend picking up a vegan cookbook/vegan living book for your choice. There are many on the market, but I suggest 'how it all vegan' as a great starter. Also if you're on a budget, 'the post punk vegan kitchen' is a great way to start, letting you know what things you need for your kitchen and basic foods that should always be on hand.
Man, u r like me, I'm 12 and vegan. Just take a vitamin and u will be fine! Make sure u get enough B12 vitamin.
Broccoli and tofu fried with soy sauce is one of my fav dishes.

Rice, Salsa, vegan butter and a few tortilla chips.... is wonderful

Veggie burgers are great too!!

I love soy ice cream..

Okay.. I need to stop. I am getting hungry :)

Good luck- it's hard... really hard. I am a vegan most of the time.. but about once a week I eat something diary to keep myself sane!
you cant. a vegetarian diet is unhealthy. especially a vegan one! do yourself a favor..start eating correctly.
I'm vegan.

Just go to the store there's like, vegan everything. Pizza, ramen, ice cream..
