He told us we should forgive everyone and we all asked him if we should forgive rapists and murderers and he said we should forgive these people...........WHY? Tell me if you agree disagree and why we should/should not forgive these people .
Most of these people are victims of their environment, but they still have a choice so I would not forgive someone who raped or murdered my daughter.

There are a lot of different circumstances that murder can occur in. Most "sane" people need to be driven to extreme lengths to be capable of murder. People can fall into a paroxysm of passion over a partner's infidelity, or become worn down by continued domestic violence and they snap. Maybe it isn't "right" but it is understandable.
The criminally insane are more difficult to understand. They could commit the most heinous acts of violence towards innocent people, however their delusions or psychoses make them believe they are doing the right thing. There are however, psychopaths who feel no emotion or remorse, so forgiveness means nothing to thwhy you should forgiveem.
In my opinion, rape can't be forgiven. It is an evil crime committed solely through selfish brutality at the knowing expense of another person. That sort of cruelty can't be forgiven.
I think they say to forgive them so that it will be easier to go on with your lives. People who tend to hold on to bad thoughts and hate for others tend to be more stressed and bothered by the thoughts. But at the same time, I wouldn't say, "forgive" that person. I would say, "accept it. let it go. and move on. it was in the past. you can't go back and fix it." But make sure you learn your lesson. Stay away from that person...... or f*ck that person up.
Some people are truly disturbed, either because they have a mental fault, or because they have been exposed to or raised in such a manner that they think rape or murder is acceptable.
Ask yourself this... what would cause YOU to commit such a crime?
Forgiveness is a hard pill to swallow, especially if you are a victim or close to a victim.
Understanding might be a better route to take. If you try and understand a problem, then it might be easier to find a solution.
We should forgivwhy you should forgivee all people who sin against us because if we dont then the hate will fester in your heart like a boil and one day just explode. Jesus forgave those who crucified Him. We are to do the same. How are we to love one another if you cant forgive?

I think your school ministers an numpty. Would you forgive someone if they murdered or raped someone in your family or a friend?
Because your school minister is obviously someone to be very wary of.
If you raped or murdered someone, would you want to be forgiven?
Because he probably has a secret in his heart.
